Winter Weekend

Join Wausau Events for a weekend filled with winter activities for the entire family!
​The weekend kicks off on Friday with Winter Brew Fest, a 21 and over event at the Jefferson Street Inn Banquet Center featuring various beers from around our local area, appetizers and live music! Saturday, bring the entire family downtown for our annual Winter Fest! A day of free activities including: art projects, ice sculptures, sled dog demonstrations, cookies, ice skating and more! A chance for your family to get outside during the winter weather!

WINTER BREW FEST

January 27, 2023 - 6 PM to 9 PM
Jefferson Street Inn Banquet Center
Winter Brew Fest is BACK! Join Wausau Events for a night of beer samples, a full brat bar and live music while you get out of the house during the winter season!

TICKETS:

Tickets for this event include beer samples from various breweries, a full brat bar, live music and a commemorative glass mug (for the first 200 attendees)! Must be 21+ over to purchase a ticket. 
Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 at the door until sold out.

Parking & Other Details:

All guests can park in the parking ramp attached to the Jefferson Street Inn and enter the event via the attached skywalk. This will provide easy access to the event.

​All guests must show a valid ID to enter.

  • Ice Skating (bring your own ice skates)

  • Craft Activity (Inside the CVA!)

Activities inside Washington Square:
  • Upper Iowa Kid's Craft
  • HIM Wisconsin Kid's Craft
  • Children's Wisconsin Activity
  • Humane Society of Marathon County
  • Marathon County Historical Society Craft Project
  • Take Home Activity provided by the Marathon County Library!

Activities outside on 3rd Street:
  • Monk Gardens Animal Tracking Activity
  • REGI Bird Demonstration
  • Professional Ice Carvers & Demonstrations

Food & Beverage:
  • Wausau Events & The Clay House Pizza Kiln will be serving free pizza slices to attendees inside of Washington Square while supplies last!
