The AeroShell Aerobatic Team performs tight, awe-inspiring formation aerial maneuvers in front of millions of airshow fans all over North America. With Mark Henley, team lead; Bryan Regan, right wing; Steve Gustafson, left wing; and Jimmy Fordham, slot; this four-ship of T-6 Texan aircraft perform a series of loops, rolls, and bomb bursts in close formation for a classic aerobatic routine. |
Skip Stewart is best known for his high-energy aerobatics routine which includes very low and slow knife-edge passes. His performances most often involve transitioning into slow knife-edge flight immediately after take-off, followed by an outside-banked turn as he sets up for his routine. The performances themselves involve extreme positive and negative G maneuvers, utilizing the full performance and maneuvering envelopes of his aircraft. He is known for performing a double ribbon-cut, in which he slices the first (upper) ribbon with his aircraft's vertical tail while in inverted flight, and the second (lower) ribbon with his lower wing while in sustained knife-edge flight. Stewart's showmanship typically continues till the very end of his performances, as he lands on one wheel and then performs smoking doughnuts on the taxiway.

Instructing at local flight schools Michael logged hundreds of hours helping new pilots achieve their goals in aviation. Today Michael is an active IAC Competitor and an ICAS member, performing at air shows around the Country. Michael’s style brings precision, speed, head dazzling Gyroscopic and high G maneuvers to airshow center. To maintain proficiency during the contest and air show seasons, Michael flies twice a day, five days a week. Michael is currently employed as a professional pilot flying business jets.

Susan is one of only a few females performing airshows in a biplane, and is the only woman flying exhibition in the Super Stearman. Attending airshows as a child, Susan remembers being in awe of the big, loud, smoky biplanes. As a teenager, yearning to fly, Susan felt the only way to fly a Stearman was to have one of her own. At the family airport, located inHarvard, Illinois, Susan worked in the office, fueled planes, and eventually acquired a rebuildable Stearman Project. While in high school, every spare hour was spent restoring the aircraft, which she still owns and operates today. |
