Wings Over Wausau Planes & Pilots:

Our event will feature many different planes and pilots throughout the weekend. Scroll for a list of our Airshow Performers, along with some of the static displays that will be available for viewing while you visit Wings Over Wausau.
The Wausau Airport will also be offering limited airplane rides! Scroll for more information!

Special thanks to our Airplane Sponsors: Tundraland, Renewal by Andersen, Prevail Bank and Audi Wausau!

Professional Airshow Performers:

The performers listed below will be flying in the professional airshow each day at 6 PM! In addition, we will have other planes joining them throughout the show, including some of the vintage war planes from our static display area!

Professional Airshow Performer: Comedy Aerobatics

Erik can't remember his first plane ride... because he wasn't born yet! He began "training" at the age of 6. He sat on his father's lap and flew on instruments. Erik was ready for solo at the age of 8 thru the use of a tailor-made seat and control extensions. At age 10, he learned spins, which sparked his lifelong passion for aerobatics.

Erik has worked as a Flight Instructor, an Instructor/Pilot for an air combat school in the AT-6/SNJ and as a Corporate Pilot in Lear Jets, King Airs, etc. He has flown over 170 different makes and models of aircraft. Erik is a full-time farmer, living on the same farm the original settlers log cabin was built... now with grass runways and an airshow practice box!

Professional Airshow Performer: Stunt Pilot

Bob Richards grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana, watching airshows and flying remote controlled models.  He is a graduate of the Purdue University Flight Program, where he received his first aerobatic training in a DeHavilland Chipmunk in 1992. Bob flew his first biplane in 2003 and performed his first airshow in 2006.

Bob's desire for more power was realized when he acquired 'Machaira', a custom built aircraft, producing 325 hp, previously owned by expert designer, builder and airshow performer Doug Dodge.
We will also have performer, Galen Killam joining the Dacy Airshows Crew for the performances!
