BIG BULL FALLS BLUES FEST

WAUSAU EVENTS 2020 BIG BULL FALLS BLUES FESTIVAL POSTPONED TO 2021

The health and safety of our community, event goers, volunteers, and musicians will always be our main concern. With so much uncertainty still surrounding COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our 2020 Big Bull Falls Blues Fest to August 20-21, 2021.

All of the musicians and bands scheduled to perform this year have told us that they plan to return to Fern Island for our 2021 festival.

To ticket holders: All purchased tickets will be rolled over to the 2021 festival. Please hang on to your 2020 tickets because they will be good for August 20-21, 2021. If you are unable to attend the August 2021 festival, you can request a refund by emailing us at execdir@wausauevents.org by June 19th.

Our goal at Wausau Events has always been to deliver the best possible event experiences for our fans and sponsors. Know that we are more driven than ever to deliver on this mission. 

We love our community and want to do our part to keep each other safe. Until we can all get together again, please take care of yourself and one another.

Wisconsin's longest running Blues Fest is back! Located on Fern Island in Wausau, Wisconsin, this venue is one of a kind. 

Again this year - we will be offering a FREE shuttle throughout the festival with stops at seven of our local hotels! Additional Information:
Carry-Ins:
Carry-ins are not allowed. A cooler full of ice only will be allowed. Large backpacks/bags will be subject to inspection.

Chairs:
Lawn chairs are permitted. Tents and awnings of any kind are NOT permitted. VIP tickets do not include a chair to keep. Please bring your own chair. There are plastic ones in the VIP area but if you want to sit elsewhere, we suggest bringing a chair!

Lodging: 
There are several hotels within 2 miles of the event including the Super 8, Plaza, and La Quinta. There are also the hotels of The Courtyard, Super 8 Rib Mountain and hotels in Weston and Rothschild. 

Camping:
We do not offer camping through the event. The Marathon County Parks Department offers various camp grounds. Contact them directly at 715-261-1550.


Pets:
No pets are allowed at the Blues Fest.


ATM:
There will be an ATM on-site

Credit Card:
Big Bull Falls Blues Fest will take credit cards on-site for admission to the festival. All beverages and food must be bought with cash.


Smoking:
Smoking is allowed outside the tents. NOT under the tents.


Food/Drinks:
Food and Drinks will be sold at the fest. There will be a variety of vendors. There are no carry-ins allowed.

Rain:
The festival will happen rain or shine! If there is lightning, we will have to stop the music.

Apparel: 
There will be festival apparel for sale on-site! 

Parking:
The lot directly in front of the event is reserved for Handicap Parking only. Please use the city lots on River Drive including the Oak Island Lot.
